JEDCO’s CEO, Abdul Fattah Al-Kayed, has started a tour to the southern governorates, along with a number of JEDCO's team.
The tour aims at observing the progress rates of some of benefited SMEs which have received technical and financial support from JEDCO.
Al-Kayed began the visit with a meeting with the Governor of Al-Karak, Dr. Qablan Al-Sharif, who emphasized on providing all the necessary facilitation to develop and increase JEDCO's activities and efforts in Al-Karak Governorate in the upcoming period. He also expressed his appreciation for JEDCO’s role in supporting entrepreneurial ideas and projects across various governorates.
Al-Kayed held a meeting with JEDCO’s stakeholders in Al-Karak Chamber of Commerce premises, in the presence of the Mayor, Eng. Mohammed Al-Ma’aytah, and the President of the Chamber, Mr. Mamdouh Al-Qaraleh.
During the meeting, they discussed the challenges facing the economic development in Al-Karak governorate and the possible ways to collaborate in providing opportunities for supporting the entrepreneurial ideas and SMEs.
Al-Kayed affirmed JEDCO's readiness, with all its staff, to cooperate with various institutions in Al-Karak Governorate to increase the ratio of support provided to the governorate’s citizens in cooperation with Al-Karak Chamber of Commerce and abiding with the approved and published standards and conditions.
He also visited a number of crafts, tourism, and agricultural projects in Karak, Shoubak and Al-Husseiniya areas which are in the implementation process. He checked the progress of these projects according to the approved action plan.
