The Jordanian Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) is organizing the SME’s Forum 2024 in Petra District on December 12-13, in collaboration with the Petra Authority. This initiative stems from JEDCO’s role in supporting and enhancing economic enterprises to ensure their sustainability and competitiveness within the framework of the Economic Modernization Vision.
The forum aims to promote entrepreneurship, stimulate innovation and technology, and introduce funding opportunities for small and medium enterprises. It also seeks to encourage knowledge exchange among participating entities and experts, creating a network for business owners to raise awareness of support policies and promote collaboration and partnerships.
JEDCO aims to hold this forum annually in Jordan to contribute in identifying indicators that support the implementation of the Economic Modernization Vision, particularly in the fields of entrepreneurship, creativity, and the establishment of projects across various sectors—industrial, service, and agricultural, eventually enhancing self-employment.
Two exhibitions will be organized alongside the forum in the Irbid and Karak governorates, with the participation of 150 small and medium enterprises from both areas expected to increase their chances of acquiring new clients and expanding their current customer base. The exhibitions will enhance marketing and development opportunities for small and medium enterprises, introduce them to the latest technologies and innovations, raise brand awareness, and facilitate knowledge and experience sharing, thereby improving their capabilities and expanding their customer base.
