AL HADAF INDUSTRIAL COMPANY FOR IMPORTING AND INDUSTRY: AN EXPORTING SUCCESS STORY WITH JEDCO

Rami Al Saheb at Al Hadaf Industrial Company for Importing and Industry knew just how important branding was for his disposable food items packaging business, and knew that with the right tools, his business had enormous potential. In order to take his business to the next level, he needed mentorship, which when he turned to the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) for support. 

The factory was the ideal candidate for the support offered by JEDCO’s technical program “Accelerate with JEDCO”, which included formulating a brand-new marketing strategy, where new and wider demographics were introduced to their products, as well as the prospect of exporting to Europe. In addition, team members were offered the chance to network at a number of international exhibitions.

In addition, management seminars were offered to Al Hadaf executive team members, and JEDCO helped craft a five-year plan for the factory that included a complete restructuring of the entire organization. An expert was also brought in to devise a financial strategy for 2019, with sights set on increasing sales, and as a result, revenue.

All these changes were made possible due to a $60,000 grant from JEDCO, which was used to procure machinery for a new production line of the latest products, as well as the expansion of factory’s production capacity. Al Saheb was finally putting in motion his plan for Al Hadaf, not only in terms of production levels, but also on the managerial and marketing fronts, thanks to the expertise he found at JEDCO.
