Local manufacturing companies that use imported production inputs and who are seeking to replace them with similarly specified local materials.

The Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) including its regional offices in the Governorates of Jordan.

Eligibility requirements
|
- The company must be registered or have operations in Jordan
- The company must be in the service, industrial or agribusiness sector.
- The company must be at least two years old.

Required Documents
|
- A certificate of Registration from the Ministry of Trade and Industry
- A social security statement
- Financial statements for the last two years, including at least the following: statement of financial position, statement of income and expenses, cash flow statement, and a list of changes in equity along with clarifications (where applicable).
- Introductory information about the company, its products and its organizational structure.

Application Process
|
Once the application and the required documents are evaluated, JEDCO will complete the following tasks:
- Conduct site visits to assess technical issues including the company’s absorptive capacity, its need for inputs and their required specifications and its product and delivery conditions.
- Assess and reach a decision about the economic and technical feasibility of the proposed project.
- Search for linkage opportunities through the National Linkages Project - Suppliers, and prepare a short list of potential linkages.
- Hold coordination meetings between the supplying company and the purchasing company to clarify requirements and mechanisms for co-operation.
- Secure an approval from the purchasing company regarding its linkage with the supplying company.
- Notify the purchasing company and the potential supplying company of approvals related to conducting diagnostic studies and development plans, in addition to inviting the companies to sign MOUs when necessary.
- Monitor the implementation of the development plan until the desired linkage is achieved.
