What is the WEIDE Fund?

The WEIDE Fund is a joint initiative of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Secretariat and the International Trade Centre (ITC). With a budget of USD 50 million, it aims to empower women entrepreneurs by improving access to digital tools, international networks, and global trade opportunities.

Call for Applications: Women-led businesses in Jordan invited to apply for support through WTO–ITC WEIDE Fund

The Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) is pleased to announce the launch of the WTO–ITC Women Exporters in the Digital Economy (WEIDE) Fund call for applications in Jordan.

This new Programme provides funding and technical support to help women-led businesses strengthen their digital presence and expand into global markets.

The WEIDE Fund is a joint initiative of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Secretariat and the International Trade Centre (ITC). With a budget of USD 50 million, it aims to empower women entrepreneurs by improving access to digital tools, international networks, and global trade opportunities.

Women-led businesses in Jordan can apply for two types of grants:

  • Discovery Grant (up to USD 5,000): For early-stage businesses exploring digital trade.
  • Booster Grant (up to USD 30,000): For businesses ready to scale up and expand internationally.

In addition to funding, beneficiaries will receive mentorship, training and access to international business networks to strengthen their competitiveness and long-term growth.

Who can apply?

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be women-led businesses registered and operating in Jordan.
  • Be export-ready and committed to engaging in digital trade.
  • Demonstrate potential for business growth and job creation.

Application period

The call for applications is open from 29th September 2025  to 26th October 2025.
